La Puna is marvelous for being one of the few regions in the world where tectonics transformed the landscape into capricious colors and shapes. Biology and geology mix in an environment frozen in time and so that you can understand it, our researchers will tell you the natural history of each of the places we will visit.
You will encounter extreme forms of life, similar to the first life forms that appeared on our planet.
To do this, we bring modern equipment and everything necessary so that in-situ you can observe the microbial mats that form the famous stromatolites or "living rocks", with our microscopes and the assistance of our biologist. You will scan the sky with telescopes. You will capture the sky with your camera where our astrophotographer will guide you to achieve it. With a geologist you will understand the capricious shapes that the Earth's crust adopted due to the forces that shaped the region for millions of years.
