Upon entering, you go up to the observatory along the "Universe - Life - Man" path.
Introductory video: Origin and evolution of our planet Earth. The geological eras. Formation of the first rocks. Appearance of life in the fossil record. Continental drift and plate tectonics. Relief formation. South American Geology and the NOA. Orographic structures of the area. Thematic trail: Rocks and Minerals in the observatory area. Observation, collection and classification of rocks.
Main phenomena that affect the Earth's crust. Observation of water and wind erosion. Soil conservation. Flora, fauna and ecosystems of the High Mountains. Altitudinal changes. Native and exotic species. Documentary photography of observed animal and plant species. Scientific and documentary photography workshop.
Mountain Trekking: a more intimate encounter with the wild nature of the mountains. Remote natural environments.
Daytime and nighttime observations: the surface of the SUN, observation of Sunspots. Open sky chat at dusk. Astronomical observations with the main instrument of the observatory: planets, binary stars, clusters and nebulae.
Under the Ampimpa moon: observations of the moon if it were visible that night. Optical and CCD images.
